What it is

xAI trains Grok, its AI model, and hires AI Tutors to help. The roles we checked were language specialists who annotate audio, record voice samples and give feedback on how the model handles accents and dialects. Listings sit on its careers board, now under the SpaceXAI name.

What it pays

Pay is set per listing. One Arabic AI Tutor listing we checked showed $35 to $45 an hour for US-based candidates, depending on experience, skills, education and location. Other listings and other countries can differ, so read each one.

How to get in

  1. Find an AI Tutor listing on the xAI careers board.
  2. Check the language and English requirements. The Arabic role asked for native fluency and at least B2 English with clear speech for recording.
  3. Apply through the listing.

The catch

  • The role we checked excluded US candidates in Wyoming and Illinois and offered no visa sponsorship.
  • Apply only through the official careers board, never through a message.
